The Government Relations Committee is planning our Sixteenth Annual “State of the Community” Breakfast at Hampton Inn Col Alto on Friday, January 3rd. The event will begin with breakfast at 7:15 a.m.; the program running from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and from 8:45-9:00 a.m. we will entertain questions from the floor. The program will be completed by 9:00 a.m. The cost of the event is $10. We thank George Moore of Hampton Inn for hosting and George Huger of The Southern Inn Restaurant for again catering the event.
Should we begin by saying one lucky attendee will leave the event with $1000 cash in their pocket? Do we have your attention? The date, band and menu are all set! Can you tell we are pretty excited about this year’s event? The committee has been meeting regularly this fall to hopefully bring you a better and a little different event. We don’t want to change it too much because it is always popular, but we do want to upgrade this year’s event. One enhancement will be the opportunity for someone (and there will be more than one cash winner) to walk away with at least $1000 and possibly more. A “cash drop” component will be added where every attendee qualifies for a chance to win one of multiple cash prizes.
